NORTH DAKOTA HOUNDSMEN ASSOCIATION

Constitution

Article 1 – Name

The name of the association shall be North Dakota Houndsmen Association, herein after referred to as the association.

Article II – Purpose

The primary purpose of the North Dakota Houndsmen Association is to insure and preserve our hound hunting privileges, promote the image of Houndsmen to the general public, to hold field trials and other events for hounds that will develop sportsmanship and brotherhood and to promote sound game management.

                                                            Article III – Membership

Membership in the association shall be classified as follows:

Active membership: Members, who upon payment of annual dues and lifetime dues, shall be active members in good standing with the right to vote, hold office, and participate in all the activities within the association.

                                                            Article IV- Officers

The officers of the association shall be the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.

                                                            Article V – Master of Hound

The association shall elect two Masters of Hound by first field trials to be the head of all trials and gatherings.

                                                            Article VI – Board of Directors

There shall be a board of directors composed of six members including the four officers of the association and the two Masters of Hounds.  The Board of Directors is the major governing body of the association, are appointed, and shall hold office positions in two-year terms if they are willing.  All board members shall always be fully paid with membership dues.

In the event a club vote is unattainable by a 2/3 vote, the Board of Directors shall halve the authority to act or in behalf of membership.  

                                                            Article VII- Committees

The association shall have the ability to appoint committees to operate field trials and/ or other duties as deemed necessary.

                                                            Article VIII- Meetings

There shall be one meeting held in the spring of each year and one meeting held in the fall of each year as the central location of Cole Harbor, North Dakota. A quorum shall exist of those active members present at the meetings.

                                                            Article VIII – Amendments

Amendments of the constitution shall be proposed at the spring meetings and will require a two-thirds majority vote of the members present at the meeting.

 

 

Double U is only accepting Membership's and donations behalf of Double U's Customer base.    Double U LLC supports Hound hunting and Hunting with dogs,  however Double U LLC does not endorse any specific decision or statement from any organization.  Please respect that any opinions and or statement from these associations and clubs may not be the same as Double U.  By purchasing this product you agree to hold Double U free from liabilities. In the event of any legal Judgment against Double U compensation requested from Double U shall not exceed $1
